
When a world is opened, you can then select the area of the world that you wish to import into your Mine-imator project. This can be done either from the 'World' dropdown which will automatically be filled with Minecraft worlds saved to your AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves directory, or by clicking the 'Browse for world' button, which lets you open a world's level.dat file anywhere else on your computer. Upon opening the world importer, you will need to select a Minecraft world to import scenery from. It can be accessed by selecting 'Import from world.', either through the 'File' dropdown at the top toolbar, or as an option when importing scenery through the workbench. Mine-imator comes with a "Schematics" folder containing an assortment of sceneries for new users to use in their projects without needing to download custom ones or use the world importer.

Upon being selected in the library, options become available for customizing the scenery.
